About Hearthrow

Hearthrow began as a small woodworking workshop where founder Clara Bennett started crafting handcrafted baking accessories and kitchen décor for local homeowners and café owners searching for artisan alternatives to mass-produced kitchen goods. What began as small garage-built projects gradually evolved into a dedicated workshop specializing in handcrafted hardwood culinary accessories and farmhouse-inspired décor.

Every Hearthrow product is individually fabricated using premium hardwoods including walnut, maple, cherry, and white oak sourced from regional lumber suppliers and specialty mills. Each piece is carefully milled, assembled, sanded, and hand-finished inside our workshop using traditional woodworking techniques combined with warm hospitality-inspired design.

We intentionally avoid mass production and imported inventory. Every order is fabricated after purchase, allowing us to focus entirely on craftsmanship, finishing quality, and natural material character. From raw lumber preparation to final finishing and packaging, every product is built specifically for the customer who commissioned it.
